We’re Back, Rebuilding Momentum and Looking Ahead
If you’ve visited The Cinema Designer website or followed our LinkedIn activity over the past year, you may have noticed that updates have been, at best, a little patchy. That is a fair observation and one we want to acknowledge openly.
Behind the scenes, however, it has been anything but quiet.
We’ve been working hard to strengthen the platform, refine the experience and invest time where it matters most. The goal has always been to make TCD more valuable, more capable and more relevant to the people who rely on it every day. Now we’re ready to start sharing more of that progress again.
A New Chapter with DirectlyAV
One of the most exciting developments is our partnership with DirectlyAV.
This collaboration represents a step forward in how we support the industry, combining design intelligence with a broader ecosystem that understands the needs of integrators, designers and professionals working at the front line of home cinema and media room projects. It’s an important moment for us and one that signals our intent to grow, improve and re-engage with our community in a more consistent and meaningful way.
If You Haven’t Logged In for a While
If it’s been some time since you last used TCD, you’ll notice a platform that continues to evolve. We’ve been focused on making improvements that help you work smarter, present more professionally and deliver with greater confidence. From performance enhancements to ongoing technology updates, our work has been centred around strengthening what was already a powerful tool and making sure it continues to support the changing needs of the industry.
And this is only the beginning.
A Stronger Focus for the Year Ahead
Our focus this year is clear. Develop the platform further, engage more closely with our users and make sure we’re giving you the tools and support you need to get the most out of TCD.
We have much more to share in the months ahead. New developments, deeper integrations and continued investment in the technology that underpins everything we do.
We are back on it and genuinely excited about where this is heading.
Introducing Certified TCD Training
Alongside the platform improvements we’re also developing a certified training programme designed to help users unlock the full potential of The Cinema Designer.
This will provide structured learning, deeper understanding and practical guidance on how to get the most from the platform, whether you’re new to TCD or looking to take your designs to the next level.

If you would prefer a more hands-on experience we will also be welcoming visitors to our brand new facility where you’ll be able to see the platform in action, explore the latest technology and experience recent product developments first-hand.

Our new facility has been designed as a space to demonstrate what’s possible. Visitors will be able to see the latest updates to TCD, explore current technology and understand how design, specification and presentation come together in a real-world environment.
Moving Forward Together
We know consistency matters and we’re committed to communicating more regularly from here on. The quieter period allowed us to focus on improving the foundations. Now it’s time to build on them.
