Loewe’s luxury range of OLED Ultra HD TV displays are now available within global cloud-based design software, The Cinema Designer’s manufacturer database, facilitating technically accurate media room designs with full documentation – in minutes.

Loewe has announced that effective immediately, its luxury range of OLED Ultra HD TV displays are now available within global cloud-based design software, The Cinema Designer’s (TCD) manufacturer database.

Using TCD, integrators can quickly produce technically accurate media room designs for clients that require high end, multi-functional media rooms and gaming spaces.

TCD was first developed to enable home theatre installers to quickly design reference level screening rooms and larger immersive audio home cinemas, however TCD’s Media Room subscription tiers bring the power of The Cinema Designer into the hands of media room installers.

With the recent launch of TCD’s Media Room Pro tier, Loewe displays can be incorporated into a wider variety of designs. TCD can be used to quickly calculate a media room’s RT60/500 Sabine equation, footlamberts calculation, flat panel display placement, seating configuration, immersive CODEC (up to 9.1.4) loudspeaker and subwoofer placement and much more.

“Joining the TCD database will make Loewe screens an even more popular choice for high end residential projects. All of our products are made in Germany, with a high level of craftsmanship, premium materials and state-of-the-art OLED technology. And with screens up to 77” in size, IP/RS232 support with leading drivers, together with surprisingly good trade margins Loewe has a strong proposition in this sector.” said Charlie Cann, Loewe UK Ltd.

TCD calculates and produces in minutes what would take an experienced cinema designer weeks to complete, quickly specifying the precise location of all cinema and media room equipment, while eliminating equipment combinations that won't work.

“Media rooms are becoming increasingly popular,” said TCD MD, Guy Singleton. “If clients don’t have the space or budget for a dedicated theatre room with tiered seating, but they want to watch a mix of TV programmes, movies and incorporate gaming functionality, a media room with a flat panel display and / or a drop-down screen is a great solution. Historically, flat panel displays are challenging to integrate in an aesthetically pleasing way. However, modern displays are different, and Loewe takes that to the next level with its stylish displays. For high-end media rooms, integrators want to offer the best, and clients demand the best. Loewe ticks the boxes for style and performance.”

Built by home theatre designers, for home theatre designers, TCD allows home cinema professionals to design any dedicated cinema or media room in minutes and creates the full design and documentation, allowing users to produce technically perfect dedicated theatre and media room designs, support documents, aesthetic renders accurately reflecting the finished room in minutes, in addition to producing a 3D CAD drawing of any room in under 30 seconds.

Using TCD will allow integrators to confidently design technically perfect immersive audio home theatres in a matter of minutes, eliminating the guesswork when it comes to placing all the required loudspeakers accurately in a room in a way that is relative to the listening area. Using TCD is the only way home technology professionals can accurately design technically perfect high render channel count immersive audio home theatres in such a short space of time.

TCD integrates with D-Tools' SI 2017 software, offering installers and dealers a powerful all-in-one cinema room design tool that allows users to export a TCD design into D-Tools via a CSV file, calculate local area pricing, TAX, required labour and associated costs, in addition to importing TCD’s 3D CAD drawings into Visio.

TCD provides all relevant documentation for home cinema design, allowing any company to meet the minimum criteria to enter the CEDIA awards, regardless of the size of the organisation.
